What's for Dinner?

I decided this week my girls were going to try hamburgers today. They have both feared for their lives at the thought of having to eat one. I'm sick of it! It would make our lives much easier if we knew we could feed them hamburgers.

Nate made cute little mini patties, and I cut down some buns/bread to make mini buns. They were VERY nervous.

Kayla took the first bite.
Allie followed suit.
She LOVES it! Kayla inhaled her burger-before Nate or I had taken one bite of ours. Then she ate about 1/4 of mine-with ketchup.
Allie likes it too. She said it was good but only ate about 2/3rds of her hamburger. However she ate much more of the other food.
I bought this at Tai Pan a month or so ago. This was my first time playing with it, and I think it's going to be fun. Peaches, pears, kiwi, apples, grapes, pineapple. Yum! Carrots, olives, and lettuce for the burgers. I'm so excited to have company over. Who wants to come?
Nate must have forgotten I just had my gallbladder removed. We've had a fry daddy sitting in the pantry for about a year, but we'd never even opened the box. I suggested Parmesan potatoes with dinner, and he decided to fry french fries. They turned out pretty good, and I did fine with them.
Then, since the fryer was out... Nate decided to make donuts. We only made GF, but I never heard any complaints. The girls waiting anxiously for that first bite.
Messy Daddy!
Delicious! Allie didn't want any with frosting, but I'd already put the glaze on all that were cooked. I guess she didn't want to wait and so she tried one. She turned and look at us, "I think I'll have them with the frosting." Both girls LOVED them and had to be threaten before they would stop eating them. They are counting the hours until they can have them for breakfast-with peaches, pears, and raspberries if I have anything to say about it.
Now the donuts were too much for me, but everybody else ate until they were ready to pop. We've got plenty left. I guess we'll find out if they're any good once cooled.
