Our little Elmo's love the little swings. Allie was a little worried if you got her going very fast, but Makayla couldn't go high enough. I think we'll be going to the park in the next day or two. Want to come Ty Bud?
We celebrated Valentine's Day by going out to dinner the night before as a family to avoid the crowds. We gave the girls Valentine gifts with puppies (Makayla's is named Valentine and she sleeps with her every night), candy, and pink crocs (shoes). I ordered some Dale and Thomas popcorn for Nathan and I to share. It is one of Oprah's favorite things, and I found a special where it was more than 1/2 off. I must say the popcorn is pretty yummy, although extremely sweet. I don't think it's something you'd want around very often, but definately a great special treat.
We finally decided we couldn't stand the contractors white carpet anymore. We decided as long as we were going to have to replace it before we eventually move; we might as well enjoy new stuff. Makayla couldn't wait to help Nate rip out the old stuff. We painted and put new carpet in the front room, family room, hallway, and stairs. It feels so much more cozy. I'll have to find some pictures of the new look to post too.
Just a few cute photos from Feb. 4, 2007. We got all ready for church, pulled into the parking lot and found Stake Conference was a week earlier than we thought. Oooops!!! Oh well, we had a nice primary lesson at home.
I guess it's about time to try and get caught up on pictures. Makayla loved her bike from Santa. Allison didn't really care about opening presents; she was just busy having fun. Nate and I were just happy to enjoy watching the girls open their gifts and spend time with family.
