Learning to Ride a Two-Wheeler

Over the last month, we've talked about taking the training wheels off of Allie's bike. The neighbor girl was doing it today, so Allie wanted to too. Kayla and I got her well protected with knee and elbow pads and her helmet. Daddy took the wheels off. She jumped on ready to go. They were off down the sidewalk.

She was balancing great. Daddy let go, and she fell. Allie then decided she wanted her training wheels back on.

We kept working with her, and eventually she let Daddy help her some more and than had me help her for a while. It was "kinda scary" though.

I'm not sure she's quite ready. We'll keep trying this week and see if she can get it.
