Princess Party!!!

We finally had the girls party today. It had to be canceled in June, but today-with the exception of Nate being an hour late in getting home-everything went smoothly. The girls had a blast just running around in their princess dresses. We played Kiss the Frog, Princess Walk, Snow White's Poison Apple, colored, made foam crowns, ate cake and ice cream, and ran around like a bunch of crazy kids. It was great!

Princess Allison-every time I tried to get her to smile she'd raise her arms and close her eyes or twirl or jump... That's our Allie!
Princess Makayla
Look at that princess hair. She insisted on having a bun-I think she was just tired of getting it curled.
As the kids arrived they got to color a picture of a princess or prince and princess with their own little 8 pack of princess or goofy crayons.
The kids really crowded around Nate as he spun Allie around to try and kiss the frog.
You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince or princess.
This is the best picture I had of opening presents.
Makayla just loves her princess bath toys from Robbie.
Everybody got to make their own crown. We had foam self sticking shapes and a few jewels for each person. They had lots of fun doing this.
Blow girls blow! (My camera is really having problems. I'd guess almost 1/2 of my pictures today were fuzzy.)
YUM! Pass the cake. I found these cups at Walmart, and the kids loved them. Kayla helped put them together and put little stickers on the bottoms so everybody could remember theirs. Then all the girls took them home to use again.
Robbie ended up being the only boy at the party. It took a little while to warm up, but Makayla and Robbie were soon flirting just like they did in preschool. After eating, Kayla went over to him and said, "Wow Robbie. You look really nice!" They were glued at the hip after that. Oh help!
Robbie Nelson, Makayla Hulse, Allison Hulse, Sarah Mills, Natalie Mills, Alyssa Garcia and Sienna Garcia. I remember my mom having all the kids at my birthday sit on the couch for a picture. I just had to do it too.
The kids played "Snow White's Poison Apple" (basically Hot Potato). When the music ended and you were left holding the apple, you would have to collapse.
Thanks to everybody for helping make this a magical day!

K I totally spaced the party. We have had quite the week with being sick. (so we wouldn't have been able to come anyway) Hannah has had a fever all week so I had to take her to the doc on Wednesday. Phill even stayed home on Wednesday because he was sick. What a crummy week. I'm glad to see that the party was a success and that your girls had a blast!
