Movie Night

Last night we went to the drive-in for a family movie night. We saw Horton Hears A Who and Nim's Island. Makayla and Allison loved the experience. Allie loved the Elephant movie and immediately wanted to watch it again as the credits were rolling. Kayla is now begging us to buy Nim's Island. She thought the girl was so cool having all those animal friends.

Waiting for the movie to start. Kayla thought it would never begin. Nate woke Allie up (she fell asleep on the way) right before it began; so she was still a little out of it in this picture.




It was really fun. We couldn't believe it, but both girls stayed awake through both movies. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since they no longer like to go to sleep. The big shocker however was that Nate lasted the whole time. As we were leaving the house I was reminded it was his Sunday to work. I'd completely forgotten and couldn't figure out why we were going to the drive-in if he was supposed to get up at 4:30am. His reply, I want to. And so we did.
