We got to have a little mid-week fun this week all thanks to the wedding of people we don't really know. Nate's brother's best friend and Amy's boss's daughter/assistant got married in the Salt Lake Temple today giving Bert and Darla and Amy reasons to come visit. Last night everybody showed up while poor Nate was stuck working. The girls and I were surprised with some beautiful Mother's Day flowers-Thanks! Grandma and Grandpa new the girls would want some too. I think they'll really enjoy taking care of them all summer. Kayla was wanting to water them all day today. I've just got to figure out how to get them planted before coming to visit.
The girls insisted we watch Barbie The Princess and the Pauper before bed and ended up staying up later than they should have. It's too bad the wedding was so early or we could have played some games after they finally crashed.
When Amy went to go take pictures, Nate and I decided it was the perfect weather to go enjoy Temple Square-it's one of those things we always say we're going to do, but it just keeps getting put on the back burner. Everything is so gorgeous right now. If you get a chance go. It is such a great place to visit-the kids got to run and burn off some energy-there is a wonderful spirit there-and it was free.
Makayla enjoyed taking time to stop and smell the flowers.

The girls were happy to be models. Amy had time to snap a few pictures of them before people started coming out of the temple. I'm anxious to get some prints to replace the black and whites that came in my frames-people keep commenting that we don't own a dog.

Look who we found wandering around! It's Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Grandma thought to get a picture of our family together. It's just too bad we didn't get a good picture with them in it. Nate got several side and back shots, but it would have been nice to get one in front of the flowers of you guys too.

The girls thought it was so neat that there was money in the water. Unfortunately, neither of us had any change with us. Next time we'll have to be better prepared.

You can probably tell by all the pictures, but the girls loved all the different types of water. Allie looked like she was going to jump in a couple of times.

I think it's kind of funny how the temple looks almost fake in the background with the sky so blue. I promise it's real-we didn't photoshop.
