Taking a Popsicle Break

After spending hours working at leveling rock hard clay Saturday, Nate needed a break. The girls were more than happy to sit and enjoy popsicles with him. (By enjoy I simply mean make messes-Kayla didn't like it, and Allie was too busy to sit and eat the whole thing.)
Even though the girls didn't eat their popsicles, Nate was so tired and thirsty he ate their share too. He worked so hard he even broke the head off his rake. It is a lifetime craftsman but with gas prices the way they are I just bought a new one at Home Depot instead of driving clear into Salt Lake to Sears. We'll exchange it next time we're in town, and now we'll have a spare.
Doesn't that look nice and smooth. If only little girls would stop digging where Daddy has already leveled.

This is where Nate's still working. Do you like the 10 rosebushes all stuck together? Hopefully after we get the sod in, we'll be able to do the flower beds and get these roses where they belong. Jenni and Ted (Angie's sister and brother in-law) gave us the roses a few weeks ago. We're thrilled to have them, but unfortunately we're not quite ready to plant them yet.
