I picked up 5 pounds of strawberries to make jam on Monday. We hurried and ran a load of jars through the dishwasher, and I got started while Nate struggled to get some very uncooperative girls to bed. We used 4 pounds for freezer jam, and the last pound we had for dessert. Nate made him and Allie strawberry shortcake and I just enjoyed them plain. All in all we got 16 jars of delicious jam. YUM!!! (Amy-Nate says the picture above is missing a card. Maybe you could use his idea for next month with the jam you made.)
