Saturday we bought bunkbeds for the girls' room. We haven't felt like we could finish the room with pictures, curtains, etc until we got the beds, but we wanted to wait about a month to let the girls get adjusted to the house in their old beds.

Allie really wanted to help so she got to put the dowels in the bottom to hook the two beds together. She loved it so much that I think they were in and out about 50 times.
When it was time to put the beds together, we kicked the girls out of the room. We then discovered the problem of how to make bunkbeds. Normally Kayla will get to help, but this time we wanted to have it all done before they got to see it. Nate has now tested out the weight limit of the bunk. I think it will hold the girls.
I think the beds turned out cute. I'm glad we went with the hardwood beds. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get the curtains, flowers, shelves, pictures, and accessories up before Nate goes to work at 5pm.

Allie loves the big girl bed, but I think she wishes she could be on top. 
Oh wait, it's okay, she can play up there. Let's pray no one breaks any bones while trying to get adjusted to the new beds.
