Field Day
Thursday was Field Day at Kayla's school. Allie and I got to go help escort Kayla's class to the 13 different stations.
Our first stop was for snow cones. Surprisingly enough, Kayla liked hers (until it got too strawberry tasting).
Next we went to the always fun bounce house.
Next was the gigantic slide. Some of the kids would jump from the top almost all the way to the bottom.
The Frisbee toss. There was a basketball hoop and backboard laying on its side. The kids would throw the Frisbee at the hoop, and if it went in, they got to keep it. Allie got really close a couple of times, but in the end neither of my girls got one.
Those little feet belong to Makayla as she dove down the slip and slide.
It may look like Allie is winning, but she turned around about 1/2 way and headed for the finish line. Kayla did really good at jumping the whole time. A lot of the kids took advantage of the sacks falling apart and kinda just ran for it.
Dunk Tank. Both my girls had excellent aim. They hit the bulls eye every time. Unfortunately it was pretty stiff, and everyone had to push it by hand to dunk the person.
Kayla's turn.
"That's freezing!"
Allie wanted a try too. "It got in my mouth." Me-"Well, you have to keep your mouth shut." Between sobs, "I did!"
Tug of War. The girls quickly pulled the boys through the mud and into the pool.
