Sunday March 21st, Allie asked Daddy to read with him. He, of course, assumed she meant, him read to her. Instead, she surprised him by reading TO him. She's just too smart! I knew how close she was getting to reading, but since she still has about a year and a half before she'll even start kindergarten-I was hesitant to work with her. I gave in, and she immediately sounded out every word in the book. I saved all the little books from Kayla's kindergarten year. Allie is absolutely loving them.
We are soooo proud of her. I just hope she won't be too bored by the time she gets to kindergarten...
