We planned to walk (no bikes or scooters allowed) to the school and back which would be 1.5-2 miles. We figured we'd better get the kids use to just walking in preparation for the 5K this summer. After some moaning and groaning about wanting bikes, we were off. We made it all the way to the end of the street before Allie fell while the girls were racing.
After a small patch job we headed out for a shorter walk since it was getting closer to bedtime. It wasn't quite the walk we had planned, but at least it was something. And our redhead didn't even get sunburned.

That is the most heartbreaking picture ever!!! Looks like she has a good sister to cheer her up though!
