It took a while for the crowd to clear enough to take this picture. If you notice, Kayla was looking everywhere but at the camera. She kept watching the statues behind us. Finally she said that guy is moving. Sure enough, the statue to the far right was really an actor. He moved so seldom that even when Kayla said, I barely looked up in time to see him. We stood there for quite a while waiting for him to move again, but he didn't. It's amazing how much he looks like the other statues.

Jurassic Park. I didn't think Kayla would want to go on this, but she did (unfortunately no picture). She thought it was fun, but refused to go a second time. Allie-just waited.

While waiting for everybody else to go on the Mummy Ride (completely awesome I must say), the girls and I browsed through a few shops.

Curious George!

It's the crew and shuttle from Apollo 13.

We've made it to Hollywood!

Universal Studios is a really cool place. That is what I remembered when buying our tickets. It was after I'd spent the nonrefundable money that I realized it is really cool when you don't mind loud noises and scary things. The girls
unfortunately had to spend a lot of the day waiting for us or covering their ears. Thankfully they have a nice playground for the little ones. I took the girls to play while everybody else went to Water World. There was also a soak park, which Kayla did run in for a minute as you'll see in later pictures, but I didn't have spare clothes and knew they wouldn't like being wet for the hour drive back to the hotel.

On our way out of the park, we met Dora. She made the girls' day. There weren't really any other kids around so they got to hang out with her for a good 5 minutes. It was a great ending to a day that wasn't quite so much fun for them.

It's the Hulk!
