Meeting the Princesses

We were able to attend a Princess lunch at Ariel's Grotto. It was wonderful. The food was delicious, but best of all, the girls got to spend a little bit of one-on-one time with 5 different princesses.

Ariel was waiting for us as we came down the stairs into the restaurant. She welcomed us, posed for pictures, signed autograph books, and she even twirled with the girls.

Unfortunately we were taking pictures with a window behind us. It definitely wasn't the best for capturing those precious moments.

The princesses were all very sweet with the girls. (Don't mind Kayla's pink shirt. I left the hotel without her white one, and her dress was a little big to not wear anything underneath.)

It's Belle!!!

Snow White!!! Allie isn't a big fan of Snow White. She kept asking her when the other princesses were going to get to our table. I felt kind of bad, but Snow White's movie is "kinda scary" for Allie. I'm not even sure they've seen her movie all the way through.

Princess Aurora! Kayla's absolute favorite. Aurora was so sweet. She told Kayla they could be sisters. She'd always wanted a sister. Kayla's face was positively beaming. She could hardly contain her excitement. Then three days later, during a parade at Disneyland, Aurora recognized Kayla. I was amazed she would remember her when she sees so many little girls.

Princess Jasmine! The girl's both were happy to see Jasmine. I guess Allie isn't used to seeing so much bare skin. She kept looking Jasmine up and down, not quite sure about her outfit.

The girls made friends with a Belle closer to their own size. The girls were really cute admiring each other's dresses and comparing the character brochettes.

We are so happy we paid the money to go for the Princess lunch. They were great for helping us eat gluten free. Kayla really loved her noodles. It was a great experience, and a really fun way for the girls' to meet the princesses. It also helped the girls warm up towards interacting with the characters around the parks.
