School Halloween Party

Allie and I got to go help with Makayla's Halloween Party at school on Friday. We were originally told the kids could wear costumes, but unfortunately they couldn't really. Many of them dressed in Halloween clothes, and three girls' in her class even showed up wearing the exact same shirt. The room mother asked for donations, then she planned the whole thing herself. We just had to show up and run the activities.
The kids got to make foam magnetic pumpkins with their names on them. They all worked so hard to make them, and then the letters refused to stick.
They played pin the nose on the Jack O Lantern. On a side note, the little boy in black is Ethan, Kayla's boyfriend. I was told by both the teacher and his mom that last week they were sitting on the rug for story time. The teacher looked over and Ethan had his arm around Kayla and she was laying her head on his shoulder.
They got their faces-or arms-painted.
A witch came and made a brew for the kids to drink. It was green Hawaiian Punch with some extras added, but only 1/2 the kids were even willing to try it.
At the end the kids took turns wrapping each other in toilet paper like mummies.
Now I am just envisioning Allie remember how much fun they had and trying this at home.
