Friday morning, the first thing we did at This is the Place is take a ride on the train. It was a good way to get to see an overview of the whole park. Plus the girls couldn't wait to ride it.
We went in a few cabins, and then Pony Rides!
There is a really cute little play area made up of
miniature cabins. The girls loved it.
Kayla was the conductor.
And Allie rode in the caboose.
After visiting some more building we headed up and let the kids ride the mini train.
Then they panned for gold.
And played in the ship.
Allie wanted one last ride on the mini train. She had a blast until her hat blew off. She was
inconsolable. The conductor ran the tracks and found her hat. Unfortunately it was run over and is now covered in grease.
Ooops.
All in all it was a fun time, but we were anxious to leave as the temperature started to climb.
