Fun Fun Fun

My parents came down Tuesday afternoon for a week of fun. We crammed as much as possible into a few days of non-stop playing. It was tons of fun, albeit exhausting. The girls and I met them in Centerville Tuesday afternoon for a little back to school shopping. Kayla finally found an acceptable lunch box-so hopefully now we're ready for next week. We RAN into Costco for some steak for dinner, and we rushed back for swimming lessons. After lessons we all went swimming. The girls LOVED having Grandma and Papa swim with them.

Wednesday morning Grandma and Papa took the girls to their last summer movie, How to Train a Dragon. I stayed home, cleaned, cooked, and relaxed for a few minutes. Then after a quick lunch, Mom and I headed into Salt Lake for a little girl time. We got to go to Tai Pan Trading and a few other fun stores that just are not child friendly. It was very enjoyable. Papa and the girls played at home, and then he took them to swimming lessons.

Thursday-Saturday we used our SLC Connect Passes. I got them when they were buy 2 days get the third free for all but Nate who just got a 1 day pass-all of his vacation time is spoken for. Thursday we went to Hogle Zoo and Children's Discovery Museum. We also tried out Biaggi's at the Gateway. They actually had a nicely printed two full page GF menu. We ordered, and the food was so good, we ordered pizza to go. It was delicious! Kayla and Allie have been begging to go back. Thursday was the last night of swimming lessons. Kayla passed everything but 1 thing so she'll have to take Level II again, but Allie passed Preschool Level II.

Friday we went to This is the Place, the Planetarium-and watched Space Pirates on the Dome screen, Nate met us for the Aquarium, and then Nate, Dad, and Kayla went back to the Planetarium to watch Mount Everest on the IMAX. Mom, Allie, and I went to dinner and home. Allie was out before we'd hardly started our drive.

Saturday we went to Tracy Aviary, Thanksgiving Point to the Dinosaur Museum, and then to Snowbird to ride the tram to 11,000 feet. We also went to the Lion House for lunch. Then Mom and Dad left for Pocatello at 9pm so they could go to Stake Conference the next morning. We all had a great time. I'll try to get some of the pictures posted throughout the week.

What FUN! You are so good at mapping out fun excursions! I can't wait to go to some of these places. I've always wanted to see the planetarium. Thanks for the cool picture tour. ;)
