Otherwise known as pulling a tooth-her first tooth. Allie is awfully young to be loosing a tooth. She's been telling us since she was 3 that she had a loose tooth whenever her sister did. We kinda became bad parents and just started saying,"Okay. Just keep wiggling it." Without even looking in her mouth. Well, then we did look and she actually had a permanent tooth growing behind her baby teeth. We really started to encourage the wiggling, and on Valentine's Day while she and I were at a party, her tooth all but fell out.
My fingernails were quite long at the moment, and I just couldn't get a hold of the tiny little thing. She also only wanted Daddy to touch it. So after he finally got home from work, he decided to give it a try.
Happy girl. Ready to have that first tooth pulled.

Daddy reaches in to pull out the tooth. He barely touches it, and...

panic ensues.

I relinquished my role as photographer to Kayla, and pulled Allie onto my lap. We cuddled for a minute before attempting it again. Then I kind of held her down while Daddy reached in. Funny thing, he had the tooth out while she was still crying and waiting for the pain. We had to assure her it was over.

Look, no more tooth.

All that drama was worth it when the
toothfairy came during the night. Now she's working on the tooth next to it. It is loose as well.
