Putting up Tile in the Shower

Last Tuesday, March 1, we got a hold of a guy to do our tape, mudding, and texturing in the basement. We found out he could come on Saturday to give us a bid and start Monday if we wanted. Well, I was telling my parents, and Dad suggested we might want to get the shower tiled before he came. We were all for that if Dad was willing to come help. Nate managed to get Thursday off of work; so Wednesday afternoon they decided to come and left a couple of hours later.
After the decision was made, I went to Home Depot and played the pregnant card to get their employees to load my cart and then my car full of tile. It was a quick decision, but we are absolutely loving the results.

The finished product! Well almost finished. We have two corner shelves to add and grout and after we do the floor we can finish the last pieces at the bottom.
I've never made such a quick decision in my life. It is the first tile I've seen that really caught my eye. Then when we discovered the daisy pieces, I was sold for sure. After all, it is a girls' bathroom. The floor will be the darker color in 16 in squares.
Thank you Dad so much for coming to teach/help Nathan. We really appreciate it, and we are loving the results! Thank you!!!
