Saturday after Thanksgiving we went to Nate's parents house for their Annual Gingerbread House party. We are planning on making a bigger house at home, but Grandma was nice enough to make little kits so the girls could join in on the fun.
Kayla and I worked together on her house.

She was very intent in all the details. Check out this sled she's making for Santa.

Allie and Daddy worked together on Allie's house. Allie couldn't decide which was more fun, building or eating.

All done. Great job Kayla!

Way to go Allie!

No sooner had we snapped the final picture, then Allie pulled a piece of candy off and popped it into her mouth. What? You don't eat it! Why?

Grandpa Thomson
recruitted Kayla's help for his house. They had a lot of fun working together. The house was complete with a dog house for Grandpa to sleep in when he gets in trouble with Grandma. :-)

What a great team!

Taking a break out on the trampoline with some of Daddy's cousins.

Then Allie and Tucker decided to help Emily and Riley. Allie sat there for almost an hour, watching, helping, and eating the supplies.
It is always so much fun to spend the day visiting, building, and trying to keep the kids from going into sugar shock. We look forward to this great tradition every year.
