Makayla and Allison tried some new food Wednesday night!!! We bought some corn from a local farmer. Allison started chowing down immediately. After she'd eaten most of the corn off the cob, she'd get really excitted when she came across some still there. She started with a 1/2 a cob and ended up eating another 1/2 and a full one. They were small, still early in the season, but delicious.
Makayla wasn't willing to eat the kind of corn we were eating but decided she'd have chicken flavored corn on the cob. She ate lots of little pieces of chicken breast pretending it was corn. (BIG BREAK THROUGH) I can't tell you how many times we have tried to get her to eat chicken and she thought she was going to die. She didn't though, she actually enjoyed it. Thank Heavens!!!!!!!!!
The next night I cooked a turkey breast and she ate that too. There might be some hope in our future.
