Although we live in the Salt Lake area, we like to come to Pocatello for the Pioneer Day parade. The girls had sooooo much fun. Makayla was really into grabbing the candy and waving to all the people (especially Jessica), at first. As the parade wore on, she got a little more picky in her choice of candy to pick up...only tootsie rolls for our little princess. Allison thought she was in heaven. She had so much fun picking up the candy, I don't think she really saw the parade. As you can tell by the picture, she would go anywhere to get a piece. (We had to pull her out from going under a truck parked nearby.)
After the parade the girls and Nate went to the park and met his family there. I/we didn't trust myself in the heat, so I stayed home and then went to sears to look for an exercise bike.
Then we met up and visited at Nate's parents for a while. Makayla and Allison got to play with Morgan and Jordyn which is always too much fun. Nate even found a little time to help his dad work on their deck.
