Allie's Princess Room

We decided to was time to admit defeat and switch the girls into more permanent separate rooms. While we were changing things, we gave Allie Kayla's old princess bedspread and moved her into what was the guest/toy/Kayla's temporary room.


We had the girls help with the early stuff, but then we sent them down to play while we finished up. Then we had a grand unveiling of the rooms. Allie loved it! I think they were just as excited about the other's new room as they were about their own.

The only thing I had to buy new were these cute curtains. After much searching, I finally found them at Target Saturday night. They go great with the princess bedding and with the flower bedspread so when she's sick of princesses I won't have to buy new curtains.

Allie loved the bed. She wanted to go to sleep right then.

An overview. We left the big bookshelf in Allie's room, brought in the princess accessories, and added her name to the wall. We got the dresser from Grandma Garbett's house. I am hoping to find some cute knobs for it and I should probably paint it to.

I think she likes it!
