This year in celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday (which just so happens to be on the same day as mine), the
kindergartners got to dress up every day. Allie had a blast with silly sock day, dress like the cat in the hat, wacky Wednesday, wearing apple colors, and wearing her favorite color. It made getting ready each day more fun. Unfortunately for some reason the 3rd grade decided to only participate on Wednesday. It was sad for Kayla, and I really hope next year she will get to do more.
The best part of Dr. Seuss week was the literacy night on Wednesday. They were told to come with their best who hair. We used empty water bottles on their heads and lots of bows. It went surprisingly fast, and they had a blast showing off their Cindi Lou
Do's.
