Presents Presents Presents

Like many moms out there I spent months trying to come up with just the perfect gift for each person on my list. It requires a lot of effort, but it is all worth it to see a look of joy when they open the package. I generally can't sleep Christmas Eve, not with the childhood joy of wanting to see what is waiting for me, but in anticipating my girls faces as they open their gifts. This year was no different, so pardon the pictures, but I just love seeing them all.
One present was wrapped with a tag that said open me first for each Makayla and Allie. They couldn't figure why it would matter. I refused to give hints, just told them to follow the instructions. Inside was a camera-fully charged and ready to use the rest of the day. And Kayla's face made the hunt more than worth it.
Look at Allie already clicking away.

Caitlyn joined us for a little while. She happily modeled her new dress from Amy and Tyler

Allie couldn't wait to give Daddy his 2 pound Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. We bought it way early. Later Nate saw them at Maverik and kept trying to talk me into getting one for the girls. So when he opened it, he just started laughing. "Oh I see..."

Papa was thrilled to get his gun!

Another wonderful face-She loved her ice cream maker from Grandma and Papa!

Breakfast for baby and jewelry for Mommy

Kayla made me a cute calender at school. She did a great job drawing pictures for every month. She then filled in dates from memory after looking at her 2011 one before going to school in the morning. Most are close-a few are even right. Hee Hee

This was my big surprise to my little family. They all saw this Optimus Prime at Walmart and were drooling over him way back in October. The price was way too much for a toy in my book, but later when I found it on sale, I had to surprise them. It was definitely a hit!

The picture is kinda far away, but Amy made this really cool picture for my mom. She earned tears for her had work.

Allie was just bubbling over with love and couldn't help but attack Daddy.
I earned tears for my card to my Dad. Is it wrong that we like to make our parents cry?

I made Grandma a calender.
Then it was a race to get dressed and run out the door to church. What a wonderful Christmas morning!!! Thank you everybody!
