Kayla's Baptism

January 8th Makayla entered the water of baptism. She has been so excited having to wait a whole year longer than many of the kids in her primary class. She was so happy that her Daddy could baptise and confirm her. We are so proud of her for taking this important step in her life. We love her and know that she is truly a choice spirit that we are grateful to have in our home.

Grandpa Scot gave the opening prayer. Nicholas filled in as chorister at the last minute. I gave the talk on baptism. Terra talked on the Holy Ghost. Kayla picked I Will Follow God's Plan and The Holy Ghost for the songs. And Grandpa Bert gave the closing prayer.

After the baptism everybody came back to our house for visiting, pizza, and games.

Thank you everybody who made the drive to join our family for this special day. Makayla really appreciated all of you coming. It was a wonderful to have as many join us as did, and we know there were others that wanted to come but couldn't for one reason or another. Thank you!
