When Nate opened the door he was surprised to find Allie laying right in front of it. She was thoughtful enough to not be too close so as to get disturbed when the door opened.
Apparently she had decided to run away, since we're mean parents who make her go to bed. Her bottom drawer was empty and the suitcase-full of clothes and shoes.
Oh, isn't she just precious. She pulled all the extra blankets off the changing table to give herself a soft place to sleep.
Where did all the books go?
Aha!!! I found them! I guess they needed the bed more than she did.
What's funny is my mom has great pictures of me about this age sleeping in the closet on top of all my toys when I was supposed to be taking a nap. Like mother like daughter.
Oh, on a side note, Kayla has been earning pieces of straw to soften Baby Jesus' bed by doing good deeds. Right before bed Kayla cleaned up Allie's room all by herself to surprise me. So everything you see out was gotten out by a little girl we thought was going to sleep.
